1941, lettera espresso di posta aerea spedita il 10.10.1941 dal Ministero della Cultura Popolare, Roma via LATI sulla rotta sudamericana a New York, trasporto LATI da Roma a Rio de Janeiro e da qui con le linee PANAGRA e PANAIR via Miami a New York, dove giunse il 13.11., tragitto costosissimo utilizzato per evitare la censura inglese a Bermuda o a Trinidad e Tobago; lettera affrancata in difetto di 0,50 L. con Imperiale 2x5 L. + 5x10 L. + 25 Lire nero azzurro coppia e un singolo + PA 1 L. + aeroespresso 2,00 L., totale L. 138,00 (tariffa corretta: porto lettera 2,00 L., espresso 2,50 L., 8 porti aerei da 16,75 = 134,00 L.), timbro esagonale in violetto del Ministero Cultura Popolare suf fronte e sul verso; timbro di arrivo al verso; censura statunitense; qualche francobolli piccolo difetti, però affrancatura molto rara; cert.
