1854, 3 Kr. Wertziffer blau, Platte 3, tadelloses und farbfrisches Exemplar allseits vollrandig (rechts überrandig) mit klarem und zentrischen Mühlradstempel "15" (Feuser 15 I) auf Brief nach Eichendorf, zusätzlich Halbkreisaufgabestempel "AU B. LDSHT. 24/11" und rückseitig Halbkreisankunftsstempel "EICHENDORF 25/11". Aufgrund des Inhaltes lässt sich dieser reizvolle Beleg eindeutig dem Jahr 1856 zuordnen, stammt also aus der UMTAUSCHZEIT der Mühlradstempel. Es handelt sich folglich um eine sehr seltene Spätverwendung der 1. Verteilung vom 5. Tag der Umtauschzeit, die auch vom zuständigen BPP-Prüfer Schmitt entsprechend attestiert wurde. Dieser schließt auch sehr deutlich aus, dass es sich um eine Vorausentwertung handeln könnte, da keine solchen von Au bei Landshut bekannt sind, sich auf der Marke keine Stempelfragmente einer Nachbarmarke befinden und außerdem der Abschlag klare Merkmale aufweist, die beweisen, dass die Marke erst nach dem Aufkleben entwertet wurde. Eine außerordentliche Rarität, bestens geeignet als Ausstellungsstück für die große Bayern- oder Stempelsammlung, signiert und Fotoattest Schmitt BPP 07/12 mit Ergänzung 11/12, die die Vorausentwertung ausschließt

Since that time both, the Mail Order House and Auction House Gärtner, have been united on 2.700 m2 in the easy accessible building owned by Christoph Gärtner.
