1932, 20 February, Viceroy's Cup Aeroplane Race from Delhi to Agra to Jhansi to Lucknow, back to Delhi, bearing two blue and red labels prepared for the flight, one reading "TIME IS MONEY / USE THE AIR MAIL / TO ENSURE IT", tied by a two-line handstamp "FLOWN / FEB.20.1932", addressed to Stephen Smith in Calcutta and franked with KGV 3d. single and block of four. Signed by two pilots and signed on reverse by Stephen Smith, plus Calcutta delivery c.d.s. Cover showing age wear/some imperfections. Only 90 flown.

In april 2005 the idea to build a place where collectors, customers and investors from all over the world could meet, was realized.
Since that time both, the Mail Order House and Auction House Gärtner, have been united on 2.700 m2 in the easy accessible building owned by Christoph Gärtner.
Generous viewing and storage rooms, a private auction hall, enough parking space and an underground car park are available.
