U.S.A.(1981) George Mason. Horizontal misperforation resulting in the value appearing at the top of the stamp instead of the bottom. Mason is considered the father of the US Bill of Rights. He also tried to ban the importation of slaves from Africa, although he was a slaveholder himself. Scott No 1858, Yvert No 1318.
