1975. National Liberation Front/Viet Cong; after the fall of Saigon at the end of April, 1975 the new Government did not have a sufficient number of stamps available in order to satisfy public demand. Stamps from North Vietnam could not be used as the currency there was not identical to the currency used in the South. The NLF/Viet Cong Postal Authorities therefore undertook efforts to overprint stamps of the old Government, that showed neutral, unpolitical designs, with a black overprint “Cong Hoa Mien Nam Viet Nam” in order to continue to use them. A small number of presentation sheets was produced but in the end decided against. Here four examples of these unissued overprinted stamps. ÷ 1975. Nach der Übernahme von Saigon Ende April, 1975 hatte die neue Regierung zunächst keine ausreichende Menge an Postwertzeichen an Hand um den Bedarf zu befriedigen. Marken aus dem Norden konnten nicht verwendet werden da die Währung dort nicht mit der Währung im Süden identisch war. Die NLF/Viet Cong Postverwaltung machte daher Anstrengungen Marken der alten südvietnamesichen Regierung, die neutrale, unpolitische Motive zeigten, mit einem schwarzen Aufdruck „Cong Hoa Mien Nam Viet Nam“ zu Überdrucken und diese damit weiterzuverwenden. Eine kleine Menge an überdruckten Vorlagebogen wurde angefertigt aber schließlich doch nicht verwendet. Hier veier verschiedene Beispiele dieser unverausgabten Überdruckmarken.

In april 2005 the idea to build a place where collectors, customers and investors from all over the world could meet, was realized.
Since that time both, the Mail Order House and Auction House Gärtner, have been united on 2.700 m2 in the easy accessible building owned by Christoph Gärtner.
Generous viewing and storage rooms, a private auction hall, enough parking space and an underground car park are available.
