1852, 9 Kreuzer blau, allseits voll- bis breitrandig als Einzelfrankatur auf Teilfranco-Brief aus FREYWALDAU, 12 JAN, nach New York USA, vs. Transitstempel R1 "Aus Oesterreich" über die preussische Grenze via Bahnpost Myslowitz-Breslau-Berlin-Minden nach Aachen und weiter nach England mit rotem K1 PAID 16 JA, vs. weitere Transit- und Taxstempel K1 "5", "P" sowie L1 FRANCO, schließlich via Dampfer von Liverpool in die Vereinigten Staaten - Transatlantik-Mail. Sehr seltener frankierter Übersee-Beleg in ursprünglicher Bedarfserhaltung, Liebhaberstück für den Kenner und die große Sammlung!

Der Brief ist adressiert an Mrs. Stuyvesant, 10175 Second Avenue, New York.
Die Familie Stuyvesant war maßgeblich an der Gründung New Yorks beteiligt. Die Second Avenue teilt den Stuyvesant Park, im New Yorker Viertel Gramercy des Stadtbezirks Manhattan, in eine östliche und eine westliche Seite.
1836 überließ Peter Gerard Stuyvesant (1778–1847), der Ururenkel von Petrus Stuyvesant (heute allgemein als Peter Stuyvesant bezeichnet), mit seiner Ehefrau Helen Rutherford eine Fläche von knapp 1,6 Hektar der Stuyvesant Farm für symbolische fünf US-Dollar der Stadt New York den Grund für einen öffentlichen Park, der ursprünglich Holland Square heißen sollte.

Christoph Gärtner made his hobby into his profession. He started in 1984 and within two decades the Gärtner GmbH developed into a world leading mail order house for postal stationery and became a specialist for thematics and postal history.
In april 2005 the idea to build a place where collectors, customers and investors from all over the world could meet, was realized.
Since that time both, the Mail Order House and Auction House Gärtner, have been united on 2.700 m2 in the easy accessible building owned by Christoph Gärtner.
Generous viewing and storage rooms, a private auction hall, enough parking space and an underground car park are available.
