(MonTimbrenLigne is the name of the French electronic stamp. Such or similar electronic stamps are also known from other countries. Since the motifs are specified by the French Post Office, MonTimbrenLigne stamps from LaPoste are also listed and illustrated in the freely accessible free Colnect online catalogue under the heading: Personalised stamps. This is despite the fact that they are not actually personalised stamps. The buyer cannot upload his own motifs, but can only select a predefined motif from various image groups. Both the groups of motifs and the different motifs change continuously at irregular intervals. New motifs are not announced, nor is the end of a motif. Since 2009 until 2023 there are about 13000 different motifs listed on Colnect, including illustrations, but despite this great flood of such MonTimbrenLigne stamps, the number of mountain motifs is probably only between 50 and 100. LaPoste does not publish any information on the motif).
