1871 - 1892 SPECIALISTS COLLECTION, CAT £18,000+. A stock book with mint & used stamps arranged with duplication by SG number starting with the 1871 1d blues (10 mint) SG 10, 3d pale yellow - greens (4 mint) SG 11 & 6d roses (2 mint) SG 12 and onwards through the small designs (i.e.. no 1881-99 'tall' types) including some multiples, varieties incl the 1877 1d blue with "Void Corner" fine mint SG 31b, various cancellations including manuscript types & tied on pieces, imperforate between stamp & sheet margin positions also imperf printers waste plus so much else. We note the complex array of different perf gauges already identified including 'difficult' stamps such as the 1888 4d on 2d type B surcharge perf 10 fine mint SG 43 (unpriced by SG) plus so much more including a small group identified as forgeries - the collection ends with the 1891 & 1892 surcharges with 36 mint stamps (including SG 70 block 4) and 9 used stamps. Many very fine stamps, especially considering the norm for these issues, overall the condition is clearly above average.
