Picture postcard of the Fascist Party Mission in Manchukuo .
Used by a member of this mission (after his stage in Keijo, Korea) and sent to Rome,
“I have slept well during the very few night hours free from the expressions of affect when the train passed by”.
Extremely scarce and a testimony of the welcome the Mission had.
Very rare, from one of the only 22 members making up the Mission.
SEE WIKIPEDIA: La missione economica italiana in Giappone fu una missione ufficiale di carattere economico, inviata in Giappone e in Manciukuò dal Governo italiano nel maggio e giugno del 1938.
Decisa in seguito all'adesione italiana al Patto Anticomintern (avvenuta nel novembre 1937), la missione ebbe lo scopo di creare più solidi rapporti diplomatico-commerciali fra l'Italia e il Giappone. Faceva seguito ad una prima missione del Partito Nazionale Fascista, inviata nel febbraio 1938 con scopi meramente politico-ideologici e presieduta dall'ambasciatore Giacomo Paulucci di Calboli Barone.
